What we collect
Your name and contact details, shipping and billing address, order details, payment confirmation (card data is handled by our payment processor — we never store full card numbers), and anything you share to create your piece: photos, sketches, sizes, engraving text and messages exchanged with our design team.
How we use it
- To design, make, ship and service your jewelry, and to keep you updated on production.
- To answer your questions and provide after-sale care.
- To send occasional news and offers — only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe anytime.
Sharing
We never sell your personal information. It is shared only with providers essential to your order — payment processing, insured shipping carriers, hosting and messaging — under confidentiality. Your photos and design ideas are used only to make your piece and are never published without your written permission.
Your rights & security
You may request access, correction or deletion of your data, and opt out of marketing, by emailing design@atelier01.com. Data travels encrypted and is stored with restricted access. We retain order records as required by tax and consumer law.
Cookies & age
We use only essential cookies (cart, session, language). The store is intended for adults; purchases require you to be 18 or older.
2. Terms of Sale
These terms are an agreement between you and Atelier01 Jewelry Inc. Placing an order means you accept them.
- Prices are shown in US dollars. Sales tax is added where required by law. Payment is due at checkout or per the deposit schedule shown for custom projects.
- Product photos and renderings are illustrative; handcrafted pieces may show minor natural variations, and stone weights and dimensions follow standard jewelry tolerances.
- We may decline or cancel an order (with full refund) in case of pricing error, suspected fraud or unavailability.
3. Custom Pieces
- Your dream, approved by you. Custom projects start after you approve the design and pay the deposit or full amount shown.
- Changes & cancellation. You may adjust or cancel a custom order free of charge until production (casting) begins. After that, work is already underway on a piece made only for you, so custom orders become final.
- Timeline. Estimated crafting time is communicated with your order (typically a few weeks) and tracked on your private link. Estimates may adjust for design changes or stone sourcing.
- Your ideas. You confirm that images or designs you send are yours to use. Your piece and your photos are never published without your permission.
4. Shipping
All orders ship fully insured with tracking and signature on delivery. Shipping options and costs appear at checkout. Please inspect your package on arrival and contact us within 5 days about any issue — insured shipments are protected until they reach your hands.
5. Returns & Exchanges
- Custom-made pieces (made to your design, size or engraving) are final sale, except for manufacturing defects or a piece that does not match the approved design — in that case we repair, remake or refund.
- Ready-made pieces without personalization may be returned unworn, in original condition and packaging, within 14 days of delivery for refund or exchange (return shipping via our insured label).
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection.
6. Warranty & Care
- We warrant your piece against manufacturing defects for 1 year from delivery: free repair or, if repair is not possible, replacement.
- The warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, loss of stones from impact, or work done by other jewelers.
- Cleaning tips and care instructions ship with every piece — and we are always available for maintenance service.
7. Liability & Governing Law
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect damages.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your state of residence. Questions or requests: design@atelier01.com.
